Bree Boyce is a native of South Carolina who first made national news when she was crowned the 75th Miss South Carolina in 2011. A top 12 finalist at the Miss America competition, Bree’s journey was far from ordinary since it included losing over one-hundred pounds. Since then, Bree has gone on to do great things such as; hosting The View, appearing as a guest on TV shows like, Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight and the Today Show, to name a few. She has also graced the covers of popular magazines such as, People (In 2011 and 2014) and Woman’s World, while being prominently featured in publications like Runners World and Southern Living. Bree is also a feature story in the best selling book, “Believable Hope.”
For most that would be enough; however, Bree is just getting started. Recently, Bree served as the prime time anchor in Columbia for WACH Fox News at 10. She has since shifted her focus onto her own company – Bree Boyce, LLC. As an in-demand motivational speaker, Bree regularly travels the U.S. promoting health and well being, while emphasizing the importance of self-esteem through her award-winning Campaign, One Step with Bree™. An online tool to help others reach their goals, one step at a time.
Bree has received numerous awards for her involvement in school systems, including “The Whole Child award” from the South Carolina Association for Supervision and Curriculum. Bree was named one of the most fascinating people of South Carolina and currently works with Subway as a “Fit Buddy,” all while being the new face for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Campaign. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA ONE UNION and has vocally performed for Prince Edward, while receiving her final Duke of Edinburgh Award. She is the only U.S. citizen to receive two of three awards from HRH Prince Edward, himself. Bree has studied classical music extensively since the age of 6. She is a trained violinist and vocalist.
Her love for helping others has brought Bree back to focus mainly on traveling the U.S. as a motivational speaker, fitness and nutrition coach, all while finishing her book and college degree. In her spare time, Bree enjoys studying classical music through voice and violin, kickboxing, traveling, being with friends and family, playing with her pets, and trying anything adventurous and new.
